Abstract: Discipline construction is the basis and grasp of hospital management, which is the cornerstone of brand, reputation and status at the same time. Strong discipline system, innovative research direction, and solid talent cultivation environment are the foundation and key to realize the sustainable development of hospitals, which have constituted the core competitiveness of the hospital. At present, the development of burn discipline faces many opportunities and challenges. This article discusses some thoughts on the construction and development of burn discipline, basing on the experience of construction and management of burn department in the author′s unit.
